Triathlon is widely considered one of the most demanding sports, testing athletes’ physical stamina, technical ability, and mental strength. Throughout the competition, Forest displayed a level of resolve that belied his age, truly embodying the spirit of the sport—where sometimes, to finish is to win. As his parents aptly put it: “The real competitor is yourself—pushing past your own limits is what triathlon is all about.”

Grit and determination in action. This capture of Forest Tsang mid-race embodies the true spirit of a triathlete: relentless and focused.

His accomplishment not only reflects the quality of youth sports development in Hong Kong but also serves as an inspiration for other young people to courageously take on challenges and pursue their own breakthroughs.
