ICAPS Website
Founded in 2018 by Shelley Tsang, the International Castles and Palaces Society (ICAPS) is a globally recognised institution devoted to the preservation and celebration of the world’s extraordinary castles and palaces. We believe these monuments are not static relics, but living narratives of human artistry, history and aspiration.

Officially registered with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) as an International Non-Governmental Organisation (ID #709196), ICAPS operates across a broad mandate — from physical conservation and cultural advocacy to educational outreach and digital innovation. From an initial focus on Eurasian heritage, we now cultivate a worldwide network of partnerships, collaborating with esteemed bodies such as UNESCO and ICOMOS to ensure these architectural treasures endure as vital sources of inspiration.

Through interdisciplinary research and thoughtfully designed initiatives, we ensure these architectural treasures endure as sources of inspiration — bridging past and future as timeless testimonies to human creativity.
