Tsang Pak Lam Forest

Forest Tsang, born in 2012 in Hong Kong, is a cheerful and outgoing young person whose passion for music and art enriches his life. Driven by natural curiosity, he actively explores the world around him, creating a fruitful journey filled with love and inspiration.

Inheriting his family's love for music, Forest has been connected to it from a young age. When he was 7 years old, Forest co-founded "Happy Chamber Music" with his aunt, Shelley Tsang, inviting Sir Ramon Baiget to be the music director. Forest has achieved notable success on the violin, winning the silver award in the "2nd Hong Kong Youth and Children's Musician Competition" and the bronze award in the "75th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival." Since 2022, he has been a member of his primary school orchestra, and in 2023, he won the runner-up award in the "2023 Global Outstanding Youth Musician Competition”.

In literature, Forest's work "The Little Prince and the Deer," created when he was eight, won the Van Cleef & Arpels Children's Creation Contest and was published as a picture book, gaining international recognition. In 2023, he joined the "Sun Tzu's Art of War Workshop" with Professor Joseph Ting Sun-pao, which was organised at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. Forest was also the runner-up in the profound Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China "National Day Cup" student essay competition organised by the New Territories School Heads Association and Bauhinia Culture Holdings. That same year, he was appointed as a "Gaudi Cultural Ambassador" by the Gaudi Research Centre, creating ten oil paintings and participating in the "2023 Guangzhou City Arts Festival" where he held his first solo exhibition.

Forest's creative journey has expanded into animated film production through Montane-Tsang Studio, where he is participating in the animated film "A Symphonic Fantasy: The Maritime Silk Road" project as the prototype for the main character. This animated film highlights historical exchanges that shaped civilisations, promoting appreciation for cultural diversity and fostering unity through engaging storytelling and rich visual experiences.

Forest Tsang has a deep passion for sports, enjoying ice skating, skiing, horse riding, and go-karting. These activities offer him thrilling adventures while challenging him physically. Through these pursuits, he cultivates discipline and builds confidence, enhancing his overall character and well-being. His enthusiasm for ice sports led him to learn skating at the National Speed Skating Oval (The Ice Ribbon) in Beijing, built for the Winter Olympics.

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Forest has excelled academically, particularly in mathematics and technology competitions. He won third prize in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Mathematics Competition and a silver award in the first AI E-Learning Competition organized by the HKU Business School. These diverse experiences enrich his life and foster his growth across various fields.
